Why Study Psychology at Judson?

Our personalized and practical approach to education will help you learn how to understand and explain individual and group behavior. Our psychology program includes a major in psychology, as well as concentrations in counseling, children and family and criminal justice. Study psychology and we will help you expand your capacity for critical and analytical thinking about human behavior, community dynamics and social policies.

Psychology Major (Bachelor's Degree)

Students in our Psychology Department can major in Psychology with an optional concentration in one of four areas including Criminal Justice, Child and Family, Pre-Clinical/Counseling, or Pre-Social Services. Looking to continue on at Judson for your master's degree? Judson also offers a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a master's degree in Human Services Administration.

Ellen plans to pursue a law school after she graduates from Judson. She credits her professors, classes, and her internships with preparing her for her future career... “I plan to take the LSAT on November 25 and, if all goes well, attend law school,” Ellen said. “Ideally, I want to work for the state as a prosecutor and help those who have been wronged in any way.” Read More
