Lisa A. Hodge brings more than 25 years of experience to her new role of program director and assistant professor of Interior Design in the School of Art, Design and Architecture. Prior to joining Judson, Hodge taught at Harrington College of Design. Born and reared in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture from Howard University. She is currently completing a master’s degree in Sustainable Architectural Studies and Design at DePaul University. Hodge began her career as an intern with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., while a student at Howard University. Upon graduation, she relocated to Chicago, where she has worked with renowned design firms, including OWP&P/Cannon Design, A. Epstein & Sons/Interior Space International, and Ted Moudis & Associates. She has worked in various disciplines, from religious and spiritual design to corporate, education, healthcare, government and banking. She and her family reside in Naperville, Ill., where she is an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church.
