You Can Afford It | Judson University Christian College

Zero due at JU! Pay zero dollars up front out of pocket to become a student.

At Judson we are committed to creating an affordable option for students from lower-income families in our surrounding communities to experience the excellent education that our university provides. This no money upfront tuition opportunity applies to high school seniors and transfer students for our traditional undergraduate programs only, who live within 45 miles of our Elgin campus. Prospective students must complete the FAFSA (Free Federal Aid Student Application) to see if they qualify, based on need. Students who qualify for the federal Pell Grant and the Illinois State Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant are encouraged to apply.

Judson University’s annual tuition and general fees cost $29,870 per academic year. Students who qualify for federal and state aid and meet the academic criteria will receive as much as $11,664 in aid and $5,500 in student loans. With this initiative, Judson guarantees to cover the remaining $12,706 to ensure no out-of-pocket costs for tuition and general fees for those students meeting the program's requirements.
