Work Study
Students can earn up to $1000 a year through being employed on campus in the Federal Work-Study Program. It is important for student and their families to realize that a Work Study award is different than other items in a couple of different ways:
- Unlike grants, scholarships and loans, work study is not a guaranteed amount, since it is the student’s responsibility to find a work study job on campus.
- Unlike grants, scholarships and loans, there is no automatic posting of dollars to the students account. This occurs only if the student takes the initiative to deposit their check into their student account.
