Department of Education - Overview | Judson University Christian College

Go to the head of the class and make a difference.

As a teacher, every day you walk into a classroom you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference. Judson University can give you the skills you need to make the most of those opportunities.

You’ll find Judson teacher education graduates in almost every school in the Northern Fox River Valley and in many schools across the country. Our curriculum’s emphasis on extensive field experience and commitment to Christian ethics keeps our graduates in high demand.

Unlike many teacher education programs, Judson gives you the chance to begin practicum experiences your freshman year, so you can decide early on if teaching is right for you. By the time you graduate, you’ll have a ton of experience in diverse public and private classroom settings.

Judson offers undergraduate degrees, a licensure-only program, Master of Education in Literacy program, and a Doctor of Education in Literacy program.

"The strengths of the Elementary Education program are without a doubt the professors. They truly care about where we are headed as educators and as learners."
