Alan Frost

Associate Professor

Alan Frost is an Associate Professor of Architecture and has served as the Director of Fabrication as well as taught as an adjunct at Judson since 2011. Alan Frost, RA, LEED AP, teaches design courses in the third year and graduate levels. As a designer, thinker, and fabricator, his interests occupy the intersection of the practical and conceptual; exploration and critique; and making and thinking.

He believes that creating designs infused with layers of meaning leads to a deeper and richer experience of the built environment. Professor Frost has served as the Director of the Digital Fabrication Lab at Judson University, where he trained and mentored students in the use of laser cutters, 3D printers, and other digital fabrication tools. He is a registered architect in the State of Illinois and has more than 15 years of experience working in a variety of architectural practices, from small design-build contractors to large international design firms.
