Jeffrey-Henderson-Faculty

Dr. Jeffrey Henderson

Science and Mathematics Department Chair

Before joining the faculty at his alma mater, Dr. Henderson conducted research at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM), Kansas State University, and taught biology at two other small Christian liberal arts institutions.

He responded to God’s call into Christian higher education while a postdoctoral fellow at WUSM and is very excited that God’s plans have lead him back to Judson.  He is committed to having a rigorous and intellectually challenging biology curriculum presented in the environment of a Christ-centered classroom.

  • BA   1991   Science/Mathematics (Biology), Judson University
  • PhD 1998   Molecular Genetics, The Ohio State University
  • Dissertation topic: Structure-Function Analysis of the Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 UL12 Gene.
