Adam Huff

Adjunct Faculty

Classical guitarist Adam Huff joined the Judson faculty in the winter of 2009 as an adjunct professor of guitar and ensemble coach. As the son of missionaries to the former Soviet Union, Professor Huff began his studies at age twelve in the country of Belarus with Alexander Leonidavich Ivanov. He later went on to study with Clare Callahan at the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, where he received his BM and MM in guitar performance.

Professor Huff’s passion for performance has allowed him to play solo and chamber concerts throughout the United States and the former-Soviet Union. He performed the Concerto in D for guitar and orchestra by Castelnuovo-Tedesco with the Judson University Civic Orchestra. He also founded Judson’s  first guitar ensemble in 2010, which has now expanded to two ensembles. These guitar ensembles tour throughout the Chicago area each semester.  Professor Huff and his wife currently reside in Aurora, Illinois.
