Daniel Hussey
Visiting Assistant Professor
Dan Hussey, visiting Assistant Professor of Architecture, has been an adjunct professor in architecture at Judson since January of 2019. Prior to Judson, he spent the last 32 years building his private architectural firm, Hussey Architects Ltd. Dan worked for Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Chicago and taught at both the University of Notre Dame and Andrews University earlier in his career.
Over the years, he has lectured at and participated in reviews at various universities, and guided summer programs for young aspiring architects. He received a Bachelor’s of Architecture from Notre Dame and a Master of Science in Architecture and Building Design from Columbia University. He is active in coaching high school sports in soccer and basketball and has headed up many athletic organizations for over 30 years. Dan is passionate about promoting sustainability and traditional architecture and advocates for students to study abroad.
