Dr. Keith Krispin

Adjunct Faculty

With a heart for developing young leaders, Dr. Krispin has over 25 years of ministry experience with particular interest in leadership, youth ministry, and intercultural ministry.

For over 25 years, Dr. Keith Krispin has been engaged in ministry in a variety of contexts. He first began to sense a calling to ministry while attending college in Phoenix, where he was serving in his church’s junior high ministry. It was there he was first able to experience the joys of using his gifts of leadership and teaching and began to catch a vision for the spiritual and personal growth of teenagers.

With the encouragement of church leaders, he began to pursue full-time ministry by attending seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. Since then he has served in staff and volunteer leadership positions in several churches. Most recently, he led the student ministries during a time of transition and rebuilding at Fox Valley Church in West Dundee, IL, where he and his family have been long-time members. In that time, the ministry experienced significant growth in the volunteer team both in numbers, from two to over 15, and their level of training. The ministry also grew their depth of Christian community and spiritual passion as the volunteers were empowered for ministry.
In addition to student and family ministry, Dr. Krispin has also been involved in children’s ministry, college ministry, adult small groups, and church staff leadership. Of particular interest is the area of global outreach. He and his wife have been involved in and led the World Outreach Team at his church and have led a number of short-term mission trips. In the spring semester of 2006, he and his family lived in Nairobi, Kenya, where he taught at Daystar University and had the opportunity to observe and learn from the church in Africa. Upon returning home, he joined the board of Christian Leaders for Africa, a US-based support organization for Christian higher education in Africa, especially the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (now African International University).
With a passion for equipping young leaders for ministry, both locally and globally, Dr. Krispin joined the faculty of Judson University in 1998 and now serves as the chair of the Department of Christian Ministries.
He and his wife, Joy, as well as their three children, live 15 minutes north of Judson in the town of Algonquin. Life is busy for the Krispin family with the kids involved in sports, music, and their church. In nice (and sometimes not so nice) weather, Dr. Krispin enjoys biking to the campus on the beautiful Fox River Trail, which connects Algonquin and the campus
