Benjamin Richardson

Ben Richardson is a composer from the Chicago area. He earned a BA from Judson University (2014) and an MM in Composition from Bowling Green State University (2016). His main artistic interest is writing music that is informed by a variety of different music traditions, both contemporary and historical.
This interest extends to multimedia and collaboration with artists in other disciplines. In addition to chamber ensemble, choir, and orchestral concert works, he has contributed music to art installation projects and student films. In his spare time, he is working on music and sound design for an ongoing independent computer game project with his brother, Jon Richardson (BA Judson University, 2016).
