Make a gift by mailing in a check or cash donation: Be sure to earmark your gift with “Office of Advancement” and please include gift documentation indicating the designation for your contribution or indicate use in the memo line of the check.

Make a Grant from a Donor-Advised Fund: Use funds you’ve already set aside to give today.

Transfer appreciated assets- Stock Gifts:  Save on two types of taxes and get a full deduction for the value of your gift. Please use this form: Judson Stock Transfer Form- v 2024  to give via Stock Transfer.

All sponsorships are developed to meet the individual needs of your business and designed to create a mutually beneficial, long-term relationship. Bequests – Bequests in your will are the most popular and simplest way to care for your loved ones and remember favorite charities, such as Judson University. A percent or specific amount may be indicated through your will, along with gift designations.  Please contact Kristen Egan, VP for Advancement, if you would like to create a new scholarship or fund through your estate.

Tax Free IRA Donations – A charitable IRA rollover makes it easier to use your IRA assets to make a charitable gift. Once an individual is 70-1/2 or older they are required to take a minimum distribution of those funds. Since 2006, Congress approved the IRA Charitable Rollover where you can make tax-free contributions of $100 – $100,000 from your individual retirement accounts (IRA) to charity. Recently, they expanded this incentive to include life income plans, such as charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. Next time you speak with your tax advisor, ask them if it makes sense to direct your charitable giving directly from your IRA. More information can be found here.
