Adjunct Instructor of Sport Management

Job Summary:

The Department of Exercise & Sport Science seeks adjunct instructor(s) to teach courses in the Sport Management Major [ESS 351: Sport Finance, ESS 346: Risk Management, ESS 275: Facility & Event Management].

Primary Responsibilities:

Adjunct instructors are responsible for creating appropriate lesson plans and assignments, grading papers, conducting appropriate assessments of student learning based on program objectives, holding regular office hours, and submitting midterm and final grades.

Qualifications:

Candidates should 1) hold at least a master’s degree in Exercise Science, Sport Management, Business (or related field), 2) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community, and 3) demonstrate a vital and growing Christian faith. Experience in teaching courses at the college level is preferred.

Salary/Benefits:

Adjunct faculty hold the rank of instructor and are hired on a per-course basis.
