“The community I have found here has made my experience,” Kelly says. “The friends I’ve made here and their love and support has been unimaginable.”
During her time at Judson, Kelly had an internship with Next Step Ministries, where she was able to advance her leadership skills and help with service projects that dealt with demolition and construction. She completed another internship at Wheaton College, where she worked with a resident interior designer.
“I never really thought that I would find myself where I am now, and while it is a lot of work and is often very challenging, I wouldn’t want to change that,” she says. After she graduates in May 2022, Kelly hopes to pursue a career in design projects.
“More than anything I think Judson has helped me find out more of where I want to go and where God is leading me,” she says, reflecting on Judson’s role in her academic journey. She adds, “He doesn’t give us passions for us to ignore them.”
