Practicum and Internship
Students need to show proficiency in clinical mental health counseling and other related tasks through supervised direct service with clients. Students need to log 100 hours for their Practicum and log 600 hours for their Internship. During the Practicum and Internship, students need to demonstrate competence in:

- Counseling assessment
- Use of diagnostic tools
- Developing treatment plans
- Evaluating client progress
- Clinical writing skills and documentation
- Agency Administration (internship only)
