Judson University’s Computer Science major will provide students with a deep understanding of theoretical and practical technological sciences that prepare them to have an impact in the industry from their very first day of employment.

Students within our program acquire both the technical skills and problem-solving strategies to provide real solutions to real-world problems.

Advance Your Expertise

Students in our Computer Science Department all begin with the same core major, a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. Many students find the time to add a minor or concentration to their studies, most commonly from our Business and Science & Mathematics departments.

Judson also offers a Doctor of Education in Computer Science for those interested in post-graduate studies.

Get Real World Experience

Within their last year, students are required to complete a practical internship to develop their professional skills and practice applying knowledge in the field of Computer Science.

Judson has many relationships with area businesses and nonprofit organizations in the city of Elgin, Chicago, and the surrounding suburbs to help students find the opportunity that is right for them.
