Elgin, IL (September 2024) – Judson University is excited to welcome two notable speakers to its September chapel services, bringing a range of perspectives that promise to inspire and engage the Judson community.

On Monday, September 16, Pastor Mattie Montgomery, leader of The Alter Church in Tennessee and former lead singer of the metalcore band For Today, will speak at chapel. Pastor Montgomery, who is biracial, has made a significant impact both through his ministry and outreach. His church was recently featured in The Roys Report for its incredible act of generosity in paying off medical debt for thousands in their community. Pastor Montgomery has spoken at Judson chapel multiple times, and we are honored to welcome him back once again.

For more information about Pastor Mattie Montgomery’s recent outreach, you can read the full story here.

On Wednesday, September 18, Judson will host a Constitution Day Chapel featuring Daniel Cameron, former Kentucky Attorney General and current CEO of the 1792 Exchange. Cameron has served in both legal and corporate leadership roles and will offer a unique perspective on the Constitution’s relevance in today’s society. His expertise as a political leader and advocate for freedom aligns with Judson’s commitment to equipping students to become ethical and responsible citizens.

For more information on Daniel Cameron’s career and work with the 1792 Exchange, visit the organization’s website here.

These chapel services are open to the Judson community, and we invite all students, staff, and local residents to join us for these impactful events.
