Job Summary:
The Department of Architecture & Interior Design at Judson University seeks applications from qualified individuals for Adjunct Faculty opportunities in Environmental Technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates will teach technology courses at the undergraduate level. The Department is interested in qualified candidates to teach both semesters, Fall and Spring.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should 1) hold a Master of Architecture, Master of Science in Engineering, or similar qualifications at the time of recruitment 2) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community, 3) demonstrate a vital and growing Christian faith, and 4) Experience in teaching similar courses and/or professional experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Architecture, PhD in Engineering or related discipline. Interest and demonstrated strengths in the areas of environmental technology, including 1.) architectural lighting, 2.) HVAC systems, 3.) plumbing, 4.) fire suppression systems, 5.) health, safety & welfare, and 6.) applicable codes.
Salary/Benefits:
Adjunct faculty hold the rank of instructor and are hired on a per course basis.
