About World Leaders Forum
Purpose and Vision
Judson University was proud to present the fourth annual World Leaders Forum on March 19, 2014. This event brings a group of World Leaders to the campus each year to ignite a flame of leadership for all who attend. All proceeds are donated to the Entrepreneurship Program Endowment Fund and Judson Student Scholarship Fund for educating tomorrow's leaders. Together, we can build greatness. Join us!
The World Leaders Forum will do more than offer our students and area professionals the opportunity to be in the presence of and be inspired by “World Leaders,” it serves as a catalyst to raise the capital necessary to begin an Entrepreneurial Studies Program at Judson University. One dream to fund another and so the cycle will continue as future leaders come to Judson with the aspirations of acquiring the knowledge and connections necessary to give their entrepreneurial dreams life.
If you were unable to attend the World Leaders Forum this March, but wish to support the cause, donations are being accepted directly for The Judson University Entrepreneurial Studies Endowment Fund. Thank you. God Bless.
The Entrepreneurial Studies Program
The mission of Judson University includes "equipping students to be fully developed, responsible persons who glorify God by the quality of their personal relationships, their work, and their citizenship within the community, the nation, and the world." Moreover, "the university enables its students to acquire ideas and concepts that sharpen their insights, develop competencies appropriate to their career goals, and develop the skills and commitment for lifelong learning." With these motivators in front of us, we are pleased to announce the development of a new academic initiative; Entrepreneurial Studies.
For the past three years, members of the Judson community and established business leaders in the Fox Valley have collaborated to develop a vision for creating a program for helping qualified students realize their potential to impact the world around them through the use of finely honed skills in business and entrepreneurship. Graduates of this program, due to Judson's commitment to teaching the importance of giving back, will be highly motivated to actively serve in their community. Indeed, these graduates will view entrepreneurship as a means of service to God, the community and their fellow men and women, wherever they might be. We want Judson University entrepreneurs to do nothing less than change their world for the betterment of all humankind.
