The World Leaders Forum & The Roeser Scholars Program
Igniting a flame of Leadership
PURPOSE OF THE WORLD LEADERS FORUM
Students at Judson University have a unique opportunity to attend the World Leaders Forum, through sponsored tickets, and be impacted first-hand by the shaping work this program is doing in the lives of our community. Judson University invites prominent and recognized world leaders, such as General David Petraeus, Caroline Kennedy, and former President George W. Bush, among other distinguished leaders, to engage in a conversation with the intent to inspire and ignite a flame of leadership for all who attend. This prestigious event aims to educate and invest in tomorrow’s business leaders, build greatness into the lives of our students, as well as inspire change and create a legacy in our community and the world.
ROESER SCHOLARS
The Roeser Scholars Program is centered on leadership development with a focus on developing a deeper understanding of the foundational principles of the democratic system of government, capitalism, and how faith intersects the two. The Roeser Scholars have the unique opportunity to develop their own leadership style through a variety of events and experiences, such as being able to network with business and industry leaders at various World Leaders Forum events and meet guest thought leaders at their monthly meetings. There are two tracks of eligibility – Leadership and Academic.
HOW THE WORLD LEADERS FORUM SHAPES OUR STUDENTS
Our students have been deeply inspired by connections and networking opportunities that have been presented at the World Leaders Forum. “I think the World Leaders Forum is an amazing opportunity not only for scholars like myself to network with organizations and companies and the people who run them, but for them to also get a taste of what the next generation is going to do,” says Roeser Scholar, Ce’Nedra Fogg ’22. Events like this allow for the two-way street of business to be opened to students and to introduce prominent business leaders to the next generation of leaders.

ROESER SCHOLARS PROGRAMMING
In addition to the variety of events Roeser Scholars have the privilege to attend, such as the Presidential Dinner, the scholars have specific programming to further develop their leadership skills and networking opportunities. The Roeser Scholars meet once a month to discuss leadership topics and network with leaders in our community as well as make connections and develop relationships with one another. There are also business and leadership-oriented field trips each cohort takes every year, visiting local business partners such as FONA International, Inc. and OTTO Engineering, Inc. The DASH weekend retreat is also offered to first, second, and third-year cohorts, with a culminating senior Scholar experience for fourth-year scholars.
To enhance their curriculum, scholars have the opportunity to interview for the World Leaders Forum internship position during their sophomore, junior, and senior years at Judson, providing them with an insider glimpse into the leaders on the world stage.
WHAT CAN YOU DO
Sponsor an Event
The World Leaders Forum offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities ranging from $2,500 to $50,000. All sponsor partners have the opportunity to attend the event, meet the scholars, receive a photo with the keynote speaker, receive a special commemorative gift, as well as company recognition in accordance with the level of their sponsorship.
Sponsor Students
Many students can’t financially afford to attend the leadership events our university offers. You can sponsor a ticket to World Leaders Forum events to provide a student the opportunity to hear from influential speakers.
Provide Program Support
Programs like the DASH retreat and cohort field trips promote the development of unique leadership skills through exposure to a variety of experiences throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. Sponsorship of each of these programs provides students distinctive opportunities for growth and the ability to broaden their leadership horizons.
